Happy Valentine’s Day!
Shades of Love are wafting in the air! Of course, Valentine’s Week has arrived in all its fervour!!!
Today, just let our thoughts our dreams unfold!
Lets talk of tales of love untold!
“Drink to me only
with thine eyes,
And I will pledge with mine;
Or leave a kiss but in the cup,
And I’ll not look for wine.”
Whoever has read Ben Johnson’s Song To Celia – they would definitely know the intensity of love the poet portrays in these beautiful set of rhymes! The scholars of words time and again have composed pretty enchanting couplets to celebrate this beautiful feeling of Love we all are endowed with.
Who can miss to recall Robert Burns where he recites –
“O my Luve is like a red, red rose
That’s newly sprung in June;
O my Luve is like the melody
That’s sweetly played in tune.”
William Wordsworth was at his romantic best when he composed his love for nature -
“I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.
The waves beside them danced; but they
Outdid the sparkling waves in glee;
A poet could not but be gay,
In such a jocund company;”
Love is indeed the most divine expression and at the same time, the most requisite emotion especially in the world of tough times today.
Love is the essence of life…the feel of love within us is the most precious gift bestowed upon us which provides us the distinct identity we are referred with as Humans.
Mankind is expected to be enriched with sense of compassion and care- the attributes which is attainable only when one is filled with the sublime feeling of Love.
But along with the progression of mankind this precious attribute of human being is getting lost in the sands of time…
People around the world predominantly are seen sunk deep in distress, depression, distrust which has detached them from their beautiful asset – the love…and which subsequently stops them further from being kind and compassionate towards not only fellow human beings, their relations but towards themselves too.
In the jungle of tall ambitions, high hopes and blazing passions for self-growth, the beauty and the element of love are constantly fading away, giving ways to negativity, crimes, agitation, loss of nature as well as loss of relations.
We have even forgotten to smile – the precious gift only we humans are blessed with! We all have just got confined into our own private space where even our own real self is not allowed to step in.
We are just inhaling and exhaling. We have forgotten to live. We have forgotten to love. We just run after our dreams, and when we watch them getting crushed, we find no one to share our feelings and eventually we only tend to become more depressed, more isolated further.
In the name of love we usually just celebrate a day called Valentine’s Day and once the day is over, we again get engrossed in our daily chores.
Love is not just about loving your boyfriend or girlfriend. Love is bout loving yourself to keep you glowing and going and infuse in you the finest and delicate attributes to signify you as human being.
Love is about loving your relations to having them as source of eternal compassion and solace and saving you from every attack of deadly emotions and worldly destructions.
Love is about loving the nature which provides you the sources to keep you rejuvenated and keep you fresh and full both emotionally, physically and intellectually.
And love is about loving our fellow human beings.
Besides, love is not just one day affair. It is the breath of life which should flow every day to keep us alive!
In these days of massive collapse of dreams and destruction of desires, essence of love is quite vital to quell every internal conflict and keeps one calm, caring, composed, positive and poised.
Let’s Keep Our Every Pain Every Grief At Bay
Let’s Imbibe In Us This Sublime Bliss Of Love Today
